This journal examines the application of Ephesians 5:22-23 in the development of harmonious Christian families at Gereja AMIN Jemaat Umbuhumene. Ephesians 5:22-23 teaches the role of the husband as a leader who loves his wife, and the wife’s submission with respect as part of her submission to Christ. The implementation of these teachings in Christian family life involves strengthening the roles of husband and wife in the context of love, sacrifice, and service to one another. Additionally, Christian family development includes the education of children in faith, healthy conflict management, and empowering families to face life’s challenges. It is expected that Gereja AMIN Jemaat Umbuhumene can organize family development programs such as leadership training for husbands, marriage counseling, and children’s faith education. Through these efforts, it is hoped that the families within the church will become living examples reflecting Christ’s love in the community.
